receipt of Your Lordship's Despatch No. 127 of the 22nd.

March, 1919, and to inform you that Inspector G. Sim did not

state whether he wished to contribute to the Widows and

Orphans' Pensions on the basis of his salary or pension and to

request that he may be asked his wishes in this matter and

that his pension may be adjusted accordingly.
